Personal project
Mamba is a lamp imagined for the Cinna Design Contest 2012, in the lamp category. The purpose is to offer a reflexion on domestic accessories taking into account the new lifestyles, uses and technologies.
Mamba is a table lamp, lying down or standing, playing on the archetype of the lamp, but by questioning its components.
Here the wire, which is often hidden or little highlighted on the lamps in general while being essential to the functioning, is the structure, the body of the lamp. Indeed, the wire becomes an aesthetic element of the lamp giving to it a real personality.
Symbolically, it seems completely engulf the lamp in the manner of a snake that swallows its prey. Mamba encourages the user to the handling and touch thanks his various positions and its texture, the aim is to increase the esteem.
