MODI // Identity & Packaging
Modi is a brand of superior olive oil, produced using the purest extraction means available. As part of our collaboration with the production company, we were asked to create the brand identity.
The base of the concept behind the logo was the brand name itself. “Modi” was an ancient Greek unit to measure volume, and it was equal to 8,8 liters. The combination of number 8 with the infinity symbol ∞ and the shape of the olive tree branch produced this minimal, yet subtle in its meaning, logo, that fully represents the nature of olive oil itself: superior purity, essence, Greece.
The bottle was designed to incorporate the history of olive oil, the minimalism of its purity and highlight its superiority as the base of the Mediterranean diet. The perfume-shaped bottle embodies the uniqueness and rarity of each drop.
The gift box is made of fully recyclable paper. The design followed once again a minimal approach, in order to match the bottle and enhance the sense of elegance. The bottle is placed inside the box, along with a pourer and an informational brochure.
