A low seated armchair with single asymmetric armrest.
The Surface chair was originally conceived as part of a study on low level sitting, carpet was used as an upholstery material for its robust qualities and ease of cleaning.
The chair is laser cut from a single sheet of aluminium, pressed and bonded with a specialised adhesive tape developed by 3M.
Surface was produced by Italian furniture super brand MDF Italia.
