MADECA is a Filipino-Mexican restaurant that takes inspiration from more than 250 years of the Manila-Acapulco trade (Galleon Trade), thus the name MA-DE-CA (for MAnila de aCApulco). As the name suggests, it promises to conjure the very best of Filipino and Mexican cuisine, digging deep into the roots and combining the best of both worlds.

I was responsible for coming up with the brand name and the restaurant's brand positioning.  I was also tasked to come up with the identity and visual branding for MADECA (shown below). I took inspiration from nautical themes to create a simple and modern look for the brand.
