This Brief was a further continuation of the event management in which we learnt in phase one. it was now time for me to work in the same group again yet achieve an even bigger scale event, which would involve us working with a number of businesses around Preston city centre. The concept of this idea was to host a creative walk around Preston promoting the hidden creativity the city possesses. We all agreed that it would be beneficial to contact international students, as they would be unaware of the hidden gems of Preston We also invited other creatives that added to the experience, sharing their talents and interests with the rest of the group. The walk consisted of visiting businesses such as Emmaus, Wonderland vintage boutique, The black horse pub, the Harris museum, Strictly cupcakes cafe, mandala an finally baluga. In each destination guests would participate in engaging and fun activities, after each business was visited the guests would receive a gift as a souvenir of the day representing that activity, and then they would score the location out of ten.
This page includes the local motion map to the right, which was included within the brochure so that our guests could see the exact route in which we would be taking.
Above I have included our promotional material which we posted on facebook society pages to gain student participation. Read Less
