Little Kippers
For this tutorial I decided to try something different and attempt a simpler, cute illustration with some different images other than the usual application screen grabs.
Through over 100 minutes of video and over six pages we take the “Little Kippers” concept from sketch right through to final render, including modelling, texturing, posing, rendering and composting.
This particular image is close to my heart and features my own daughter, Bella. There is a story behind this piece, and even though the image is colourful and full of joy it also holds a sinister undertone.
