Life comes from the earth and water while it ends by turning into them.
This project evolves from a homework that I made with my sister during my first year at Arts School.
I drew it with a Rapido pencil in black & white at that time, but then I wanted to paint it and gave it to my sister as a gift.
With this work we tried to answer this question in our point of view: "What is life?" The fetus represents birth, while the bone hand symbolizes the inevitable death. We aimed to express being a part of mother nature as living or dying humans. In this loop called life, each one of us is like a baby actually; we don't (or should we say can't?) interfere anything, we just watch and "let it go..."
