LdB (Ladri di Biciclette ) is a standing lamp inspired and partially composed
by bicycle’s parts.
My objective was to keep the original interaction between the parts of the bicycle.
The result is the possibility to rotate the bulb, making it a dynamic light point
inside the room: you can have the light close to you for example while reading
a book, and „spin it” opposite direction when you finish.
In summary, the rotating system allows you to create different kind of atmosphere.

The cable “disappears” inside the structure, and it goes out from the bottom
of the base, which can be used to store newspapers and magazines.
