Brief Lancaster Management Group needed a brand new visual identity. They wanted a look that has tradition and gravitas but with a modern boldness that suits their personality and style of business. We brainstormed ideas that related to the name ‘Lancaster’ (the Rose of Lancaster, castles, crests) and decided to bring in the modernity through use of rich, royal colours and texture of paper stock possibly including embossing. Solution The client loved all the concepts but decided that the shield crest was his favourite. He also loved the richness and brightness of the red colourways we had chosen. We all felt that red was an unusual colour in his industry (usually utilising blue) which suited the personality of Lancaster Management Group. Read Less
