Branding and packaging for an Indian lunch service.
Published:
One of the directions I took during a brief whilst interning at 2Creatives in 2012 for an Indian lunch service, inspired by the traditional Dabbawala. The name itself comes from the Sanskrit root 'khād', meaning to 'eat'.

The logo is derived from a lotus, the official flower of India. It represents long life, honour, good fortune, and purity of heart and mind. Colours and pattern are inspired by the Indian tradition of Rangoli in which brightly coloured patterns and art are created from coloured rice, dry coloured flour, sand, flower petals, etc.
