Alefalefalef (אאא) have asked me to create another teaser for their brand new font, "Karavan". "Karavan" is a flexible font inspired by Hebrew typography in the 60's & 70's. After few days of brainstorming, I decided to revive hebrew posters and products from that time. I start collecting Old photos, posters, products and textures, and then map those textures and images on 3d geometry. Here some examples for that process:
After model and texture all the scene elements i then started to build the scene. Placed all the objects surrounding big chunks of morphing typography, just to mention, the main concept of the font is his stretchability between his weights.
Finally, after choosing the right camera moves and finish the animation, the scene was render with Cinema4d & Vray. some screenshots after rendering and post:
Hope you׳ll love it!
