Kairos (καιρός) is an ancient Greek word meaning the right or opportune moment (the supreme moment). In rhetoric kairos is "a passing instant when an opening appears which must be driven through with force if success is to be achieved". In this collection, the force is the force of gravity experienced during free falling.A girl falling in space is pulled by gravity but stays afloat for what feels like an indeterminate amount of time. The collection shows bound layered silhouettes which refers to the force that pulls down while the loose tassled panels in the bottom is the actual aftermath of falling. Sheer is used because the feeling of being in space before you touch ground is one of weightlessness. I designed this collection with the aesthetic of COMME DES GARCON in mind. Read Less
