Here is my diploma project which theme is: Design of electronic device for multimedia communication for electric vehicle. Because nowadays people spent more and more time in their automobiles, many of them want to do their work from it or just check e-mail or see what's new in the social networks while waiting in traffic. So my aim was to create device that is modern and in the same time elegant, compact, easy to carry and to use technologies that are futuristic or will be annouced later this year. The device had to be used comfortably both in the interior of the automobile and outside of it. The form is such that the camera for video communication in real time is positioned in the same place for both positions - opened and closed. You can use the small touchscreen display when the device is closed. When you open it the big flexible touchscreen shows up and the small one stops working to save battery. Below I've shown different ways of using the device and some sketches of design concepts.
