So as part of their recruitment program, John Holland asked team scope to put together a welcome book to go out to potential new employees. Expanding on the theme from our successful John Holland graduate recruitment website, we used a big, hand-drawn font in traditional John Holland colours, which gives the booklet a friendly feel and a bright, spontaneous look. This is offset by the clean professionalism of the information pages, which lay out the relevant company details in a simple, easy-to-read style and full-page spreads with images and testimonials from current staff give the book a personal touch. This welcome book gives potential employees a great idea of what it would be like to work for John Holland – from the nuts-and-bolts details to the all-important company ‘vibe’ – and plays an integral role in the business’s overall employer branding strategy.
