Memòria descriptiva del projecte Jazz
Homenatge al jazz, la música que m'acompanya la major part del temps mentre treballo.
Es podrien realçar moltes coses del jazz, les seves influències i orígens, les seves grans estrelles i els grans canvis d'estructura que van donar lloc a la música d'avui en dia.
Per l'homenatge he escollit els musics de carrer perquè, per mi, reflecteixen l'ànima del jazz. De l'oportunitat que van escollir molts valents per fugir d'unes condicions molt dures. Dels viatges i vivències que van anar incorporant a un estil marcat pels seus orígens però obert a qualsevol ritme. I de com van obrir un camí que tants van utilitzar per mostrar altres maneres de fer i viure.
Els musics de carrer perquè segueix sent un tema actual, com a persones que lluiten i s'esforcen per lo que estimen. Per això el quadres es centren només en la persona i el seu instrument, buscant composicions simples i espaioses que mostrin una part de la llibertat d'aquesta musica. Utilitzant colors vius però sempre tenint presents les tonalitats de l'època en que va sorgir el jazz.
Junt amb els musics de carrer he representat alguns dels artistes que més estona m'han acompanyat al treballar. Ja que d'alguna manera ells han participat en la il·lustració, dibuix o quadre que estigués realitzant en aquells moments.
D'aquesta manera m'agradaria agrair la companyia i contribució a la meva feina.

Homenaje al jazz, la música que me acompaña la mayor parte del tiempo cuando pinto. Se podrían realzar muchas cosas del jazz: sus influencias y orígenes, sus grandes estrellas y los grandes cambios cambios en sus estructuras formales que dieron lugar a la música como lo es hoy en día.
Para este homenaje he escogido los músicos callejeros porqué, para mi, reflejan el alma del jazz. De la oportunidad que escogieron muchos valientes para huir de condiciones durísimas, de los viajes y vivencias que se han ido incorporando a un estilo marcado por sus orígenes pero abierto a cualquier ritmo. Y de como abrieron un camino que tantos han utilizado para mostrar otras maneras de hacer y vivir.
Los músicos callejeros porqué siguen estando vigentes, como personas que luchan y se esfuerzan por lo que quieren. Por eso los cuadros se centran sólo en la persona y su instrumento, buscando composiciones simples y espaciosas que muestren una parte de la libertad de esta música. Utilizando colores vivos pero siempre teniendo presente las tonalidades de la época en que surgió el jazz.
Junto con los músicos callejeros he representado también algunos de los artistas que más me han acompañado trabajando. Ya que de alguna forma ellos han participado en la ilustración, dibujo o cuadro que estuviera realizando en ese momento.
De esta manera me gustaría agradecer la compañía y contribución que han tenido en mi trabajo.
Specification of the project Jazz
This is a tribute to jazz, the music that accompanies me, most of the time, meanwhile I am working.
I could enhance a lot about jazz, its influences and origins, the great stars and the big changes in his formal structures that led to the music as it is nowadays.
My special tribute is for street musicians because, for me, they reflect the deep soul of jazz. They were very brave choosing the opportunity to flee from very harsh conditions. From travels and experiences they were opened minded and incorporate new styles and rhythms. They started a new path, that many have used, to show other ways of doing, playing and living.
Street musicians, that still are a current issue, are people who struggle and strive for what they love. That is why, the pictures are only focused on the person and his instrument, looking for simple and spacious compositions that show part of the jazz freedom, using bright colors but always taking into account the color shades of the epoch in which jazz arose.
Along with street musicians I have represented some of the artists that I have listened, most of the time, while I am working, because, somehow, they have participated in the illustration, drawing or painting that I was doing at that moment.
Thus, I would like to thank them their company and contribution to my work.
