The Chairman's Council Dinner is an event for donors of a higher level, and this year's includes the dedication of a gallery to Matisse's daughter, Margueritte. The invitation needed to be fun and exciting, but also represent the more restrained, and primarily black and white, prints in the exhibition without overwhelming them. The invitation opens from a photograph of the daughter to color panels inspired by Matisse's bright palette, and as each panel is unfolded, a series of six prints of Margueritte are revealed. The images are given enough space on their own to respectfully showcase Matisse's work and the exhibition.
