Commissioned by HUMlab & Umeå University to create a concept illustration for a design conference held in 2011 called "Internet of Things". Critically Making the Internet of Things, at HUMlab, Umeå University, gathers researchers, entrepreneurs, artists and others to examine critically and engage creatively the idea of a world where everything is assumed to be connected, where objects such as cars and roads communicate and where the digital has moved outside of the computer. We have assembled a number of invited international participants alongside researchers from Umeå University and other Swedish institutions, as well as representatives from industry and culture. The conference is organized by HUMlab and is supported by Umeå University as well as DinoLab and Development Arena for Research and Entrepreneurship, and is also associated with the Umeå Arts Campus.
