A scripted tool for Adobe Indesign provides a custom saving window which eliminated need for file system navigation when sending ganged business card files to RIP by automatically generating system folders according to the current date and naming the production file according to the contained placed link names. The custom window allows the user several options, including double-checking all the link names and showing template type to reduce human error. With no need to do extra manual typing or memorizing of a filename, the user is free to concentrate on higher demanding issues while being more comfortable knowing an error is less likely to occur.
