This logo was designed for a local Portland-area entrepreneur who is starting up a small-press, DIY-book publisher. The Indigo Frog speaks to the lady's area of interest (dying and fibre arts), and the indigo refers to change and process, as does the idea of the frog (as from the tadpole). The color of the design was chosen to be as close to actual indigo as possible (I even determined the closest Pantone color to use for her) and made to infer both hand-hewn and manufactured qualities.
