In late 2012 I was traveling around India working as director of photography on The India Ride television series. The days were long and we regularly spent 8 hour days in the car. By the end of our trip we had totalled over 14,000km driving around the country. The pace of travel was dizzying, but the few instances when I found enough time to put down the video camera, pick up my Mamiya RB67, and shoot a roll or two of film were highly valued. Whether it was during a 15 minute break after completing the Saach Pass or a morning boat tour on the Ganges each of the shots in this series was taken in a moment of peaceful awe. Read Less
