Series Icons of the past represents covers for fictional things, a kind of jewel boxes, while the jewels themselves absent. It is an already non-existing phenomena widely known throughout the world, which meant in its field and the time a huge technological advances. Unfortunately,the most of them except the technical sophistication and progressiveness are linked by a catastrophe that ended their promising prospects for the future. Titanic, Concorde and WTC are symbols of which many have written and spoken well before the events meant their tragic end, but despite their size and magnificence has been hit hard by the circumstances, they still remains an inspiration for the next generation of scientists, engineers and architects worldwide.
