The poster set promotes a series of changing special exhibitions within the museum, focusing on selected typefaces. The first example features the 1840’s typeface Clarendon. As the company Letraset sponsors the gallery the posters use the visual language of dry rub down transfer sheets. The design itself reflects the look and feel of the letraset sheets whilst containing information on the event. The posters would also be mailed out and offer interactivity - the recipient can have a bit of fun with the rub downs and generate their own typography. The poster for the second of the exhibitions in the series, on Helvetica, shows how the design can easily work across the board. The layout and sizes always stay the same with only the typeface and information changing. Read Less
