Brief: 'Explore the garden and it's role in our lives.'
The brief was set by the International Society of Typographic Designers. I was asked to explore plants in their broadest form. I discovered 'Floriography', a Victorian means of communication where by plants and flowers hold specific meanings. I decided to create an illuminated alphabet with each letter representing a flower and
it's meaning.
