Various flyer and invitation designs

PERSONAL INVITES AND FLYERS
Over the years I have created various invitations to parties and events. These were all for personal use.
This was an invite for a birthday party that I threw at The Ritz in Seapoint. The venue is very old-school and 1960's styled, so, along with my infatuation for all things Gonzo, I created a Ralph Steadman / Disco / Hunter S Thompson hybrid and included it with a piece of amended text from the opening paragragh of "Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas." My copywriter at the time helped me out with this and if I find it anywhere I will post it here.
We threw very large bonfire parties in Swellendam and I created this email invite for my friends in Cape Town. And yes, Saturday is spelled wrong :) There is no excuse!
When Kristina and I moved into a very retro flat in Thamboerskloof we decided on throwing a 1960's styled cocktail party. This was one of the invites that I created for the event. The one we ended up using is below.
When Kristina and I moved into a very retro flat in Thamboerskloof we decided on throwing a 1960's styled cocktail party. This was one of the invites that I created for the event. This is the invite that we decided on. It was folded into a square, with the sun facing upwards. It was meant to look like an old drinks coaster.
Packaging for a bottle of Witblitz (dutch for White Lightning) -  as a birthday gift to a friend of mine.
Flyer concept that I proposed to the owner of a nightclub in Cape Town. It's a template that allows for a different design across varying parties and events while remaining recognisable as belonging to the club. To make this possible the address details always appear in the same format and position and the nightclubs name, EVOL (LOVE backwards) is always accompanied by a heart.
This was a simple invite I created for my farewell ("last") supper at Diaz Tavern. It was accompanied by the RSVP image below.
This was used in reply to the invite RSVP emails. The invite itself is shown above.
Little idea I had some time ago.
My annual sign-off before the holidays. This was in 2004.
Little entry I created on a friends request.
