The tundra is greening up quite nicely.
Hetty stumbles out of the cotton candy forest.
Hetty picks up an unusual straphanger as she heads off for the mugwort forest.
The straphanger bids Hetty farewell.
They say April showers bring May flowers... well, it looks like it's been raining whole bouquets.
Rumour has it that the lions that roam this land are very dandy indeed.
Where the wild things are- in between the mint brush and the sedum trees.
Sometimes, it's important to stop and smell the roses- except in this case, since it's far too early for them.

The crocuses look nice though...
Hetty free at last from the dense vinca undergrowth.
Hetty and Henry attempt a game of hide-and-go-seek.
Eeny, meeny, miny, moe,
Catch a Hetty by her nose.
If she sneezes, let her go,
Or be trampled by her giant toes.
Seeking shelter from the elements, Hetty spots a shallow cave in the distance. It will have to do- her runny nose can't go on much farther.
As she climbs up the treacherous slopes of Mt. Linden, Hetty catches a whiff of the delightful alpine air- and something else. Legend has it that the hills down yonder are alive with a certain kind of music.
The winter trek is long and slippery. Hetty almost lost her footing on the ice.
Nestled deep within the sweltering jungle, Hetty combats the tough terrain and unruly vegetation. How ever do those monkeys manage?
Hetty ambles her way out of the shamrock woodlands and into the clearing. Bursts of warm sunlight welcome her back to the meadows, while the winds of adventure beckon north.
