Benevolent Society Interactive Sculpture

Creative cooperation with Benevolent Society
for Vivid Sydney, a huge festival of lights and
yearly highlight in Sydney’s cultural calendar.

Communicating the spirit of Benevolent
Society we created 'Hopes for Change',
an interactive tunnel of lights based on
the idea of people coming together and
sharing their hopes to create lasting social
change.

The tunnel was built with LEDs and visitors
influenced the tunnel's graphics via Twitter,
Instagram and the event website while the lights
reflect the hopes of all the people interacting
with the installation.

The social media component made the
installation both attractive for visitors and
effective for our client in terms of media attention.
'Hopes for Change' was one of this year’s most
photographed sculptures at Vivid Sydney and
gained international recognition.
