Hummingbirds & Black Orchids
To develop our skills we are on the constant search for challenging projects. When we turned to creative director Dennis Werner to explore the possibilities of CGI for the beauty market, he gave us a brief that seemed impossible to master.
Dennis Werner‘s experience of over 20 years in the beauty market for brands such as Davidoff, Joop, Jil Sander, and Lancaster and collaborations with well known photographers such as Steven Meisel, Roxanne Lowit, Tom Munro, Enrique Badulescu and Kenji Toma, made him a sparring partner with an uncompromising standard of quality expectations.
Meeting these expectations by technical excellence, our team built black orchids, the fragrance bottle and created a hummingbird completely in CG. But this is where you have to begin. A well executed groundwork in CGI is indispensable for lighting and creating images with creative freedom. Once these elements are orchestrated harmoniusly, a wonderful image can come to life.
