Intentar definir el “hogar” es una tarea complicada. Entre sus múltiples significados figura el ser “lugar”, “familia”, “vínculo”, “casa”, “asilo” o “fuego”. Otras definiciones mas simbólicas nos remiten al lenguaje o al útero materno. Natalia bucea en diccionarios de la lengua como el de la RAE o María Moliner o en el diccionario de símbolos de M. Chevalier para recopilar definiciones de la palabra “hogar”. Mezclando dibujo y recortes extraídos de la alta y la baja cultura visual, crea ilustraciones en las que interpreta su significado, unas veces con ironía, otras con surrealismo, pero siempre de manera poética y delicada.
