Objective: to wish the director of a corporate group a happy birthday on behalf of the company management and its partners.
Задача: поздравить с юбилеем директора группы компаний от имени партнёров и руководства компании.
Just imagine, you are serious-minded grown man – you have family, big business, apprentices, and hobbies. And on the day of reaching your peak manhood age (we tend to think it is 50 years old) you look out of the window and see a birthday greeting painted white on the car parking near your house. And it says: “Happy birthday, Big Cheese!”
Представьте, вы серьёзный взрослый человек: семья, большой бизнес, ученики, увлечения. И вот, в день полного мужского совершеннолетия (мы думаем, что 50 лет — это оно и есть) вы выглядываете в окно во двор своего дома, а там на асфальте кто-то неизвестный ночью оставил белой краской для вас поздравление во всю автостоянку. Так и написал: «Николаич, с юбилеем!»
Isn’t it great? Especially, when the neighbors start looking at you curiously. Besides, the letters won’t last long thanks to our Siberian climate. That is why we decided to make a replica of the yard (with the fence, trees, grass, pigeons, benches, the swing, the sandpit and the car parking), to put there a car with the present and another car for the man to go right away to mountains to ski, and then to write the birthday greeting on the replica pavement.
Здорово? Здорово, особенно когда соседи начнут странно поглядывать. Да и буквы в условиях сибирского климата долго на асфальте не продержатся. Поэтому мы решили сделать точную копию двора (с забором, деревьями, травой, голубями, лавочками, качелями, песочницей, автостоянкой), разместить там машину, которая привезла подарок, и машину, на которой юбиляр не прочь был бы прямо с юбилея поехать в горы кататься на любимых лыжах. И уже там, на точной копии асфальта точной копии двора, написать всё, что решено было пожелать.
