In late 2010, Hermes' Melbourne shopfront was redesigned.
Under the direction of Chen Lu, faux books were hand–drawn over a two month period. Additionally,
shelving was constructed, along with various stylised silhouettes for compositional purposes.

The books were drawn to scale with Copic markers on card and cut by hand. The bookshelves were
constructed with MDF, and the silhouettes were drawn on Adobe Illustrator before being laser–cut.
