He Who Harvests The Night Sky
Oil on illustration board & mixed media, 50 x 65 cm
Day and night act as visible dimensions in our daily lives. I wanted to create a piece that explored both the visible and physical dimensions we experience every day. The result is comprised of a separate foreground and background creating depth which gives the piece a physical dimension, while the glow in the dark medium helps create a visible dimension between day and night. The theme of the artwork is 'one who controls the cosmos', which in turn inspired this part Human, Cupid, and Krishna being, walking through space and cosmic dust harvesting the planets and stars.
