The final outcome for the design of the HCS 2012 yearbook
I've had a long standing relationship with the Hamilton Christian School here in New Zealand.
As a child, I attended the school from the years 1997 - 2008 and ever since I've left the school, I've been their first choice for any graphic design and photography work.

This project was no different. For the 3rd year in a row I've designed their school yearbook.
The design concept come from a classic worship song that has been sung at the school called "Touching Heaven, Changing Earth" (by Reuben Morgan of Hillsong Church). That song became our theme and thus all the designs and layouts were done with that in mind.

The overall design is that of collage and the "orange paisley stripes" show the outpouring of Jesus' love and guidance into our school and then, how we in turn are flowing that blessing and love to change our earth!

The collage features the school's two Head Students, members from the classes and different landmarks throughout the earth - from New Zealand to Brazil!

Also included is a brand new portrait of the school's Board of Directors that I shot for the yearbook - such a beautiful evening that we just couldn't resist taking the photo!
