A primarily domestic series in which characters, objects, situations close to Alejandrina, and when I say close I mean they are not present there, but rather they dwell in her memory,in her affections; and pass from under her hand, leaving symbols that makes it possible to build on paper the universe where “Raise and Train” is possible, no matter if they are children, dogs or gnomes, that take us as landscape, as mountains or buildings where they could climb or hang or tie. Herrera’s everyday life and soul is visualized as the freedom represented in the objects of the exhibition. X.M. Read Less
