Beirut, Lebanon, 2003. The bullet holes are everywhere. Hard evidence of this city's suffering that came to an end over a decade ago. The staccato of machine guns has been replaced by the a chorus of construction drills. Some do not even notice the difference. They catch a cable cart to Mount Harissa to enjoy the peace and quiet. The peaceful feeling doesn’t last for long; in 2006 the violence returned with full force, leaving the people with only one thing: hope.
