MAN IS A WOLF TOWARDS HIS OWN KIND - EX TORINO ZOO
This summer the whole crew had the chance to paint in a really cool location: the former Torino zoo, right downtown next to the Po river, and abandoned since 1987. For the past couple of years Border Land Association has been giving life back to the Park: a unique chance to create site-specific artwork, creating dialogue with the shattered remains of an open-air prison.

Having the walls of the ex Torino zoo as a location, I was inspired to focus my attention on the animal kingdom and on its relationship with mankind.
Using the Latin expression "Homo homini lupus" I was able to indirectly portray human bestiality. The small and cramped cages of an abandoned zoo become a tangible proof of how human arrogance crushes not only humans themselves, but also all other animal species.Special thanks go to Border Land Association, responsible for all activities within Parco Michelotti.
