I created HMGGMH (http://www.hmggmh.wordpress.com) in response to the suicide contagion that happened at my high school in 2009.  During that time, I found that people found solace in sites like givesmehope.com, and after learning about the effects of positive psychology from Dr. Fred Luskin of Stanford University, I thought why not create a localized version of Gives Me Hope?  HMGGMH is modeled after Gives Me Hope, and in this localized version, people could practice positive psychology through posting stories about uplifting moments relating to our high school.  The power of this localized version is that it makes it more personal and shows people that positive things are happening right where they are.

From 2009-2010, I was responsible for maintaining the site, reviewing and posting submissions, choosing banners, and publicizing the site.
