Art direction and illustration at Harlem bar, Reykjavik, Iceland, 2012.
Harlem is a bar located at the dodgy end of down town Reykjavik.
It has been a location difficult to endure and in need for something new and fresh. The bar has a reference to New York, not only the name but the overall concept of a chaotic small bar where magic happens and dreams come true.

Co-directed with Icelandic artist Árni Már Erlingsson / FFF.
The entrance is covered in inverted black and white sky scrapers, rising to the sky, continuing inside where soon they merge into fairytale like creatures, bright colours and psycadelic illustrations.
The graffiti is by artist Siggi Ámunda and logo by Sveinbjörn Pálsson, graphic designer.
The line illustrations were inspired by the abstract landscape we sometimes experience when entering a new place. The lines connect the imaginary world to its surroundings.
