This is an original band poster I did for the Savannah Stopover Music Festival in 2011 for the band Gringo Star. It was one of the 40 posters chosen to be in the Bandwagon Poster Gallery of the festival. This upcoming Atlanta-born band is becoming a great hit! Be the first to own one of the original band posters chosen by the band themselves! Since their music reminded me of the Beatles, I just had to make this a psychedelic poster. The idea of them being on water instead of concrete gives the image a more whimsical floating feel just like their music gives you when you indulge in their laid back psychedelic beat. If you would like to learn more about the band and hear their music I encourage you to visit their bad website @ http://gringostar.net -Watermark will not appear on the final print -Print comes with the official QR code stamp of the festival -Print is numbered, dated, and signed by the artist on the back -Image is printed on 18"x12" matte poster paper and is shipped in a protective packaging tube Although I try to match my monitor colors as much as possible for print, sometimes depending on the color settings to your computer's monitor the colors may appear slightly different. ** Please also note that this image's copyright does not transfer with sale; copyright remains with the artist. ** If you would like to see more of my work you may view them on my portfolio website: www.tinaschofield.com Please check out my other listings here on my Behance site. Enjoy! :) ~T Read Less

Gringo Star Band Poster: Savannah Stopover Music Festival 2011

The concept of this band poster for the band Gringo Star was inspired by the psychedelic posters of the 60s era, which I leaned towards based on the sound of their music. This image was hand drawn and painted partially traditionally in watercolors and gesso and outlined in ink. Then it was scanned and finished in photoshop. This poster was entered and chosen for the top 40 band posters at the Savannah Stopover Music Festival and featured in the SCAD Bandwagon gallery in 2011.
