This project, refers to a non-profit company that works with the Municipality City of Thessaloniki, Greece and YPEKA. The main priority is the fruitful interaction of citizens with society, to achieve objectives such as regeneration of the urban landscape and specifically the upgrading of the environment of Thessaloniki. It aspires to become a pole of action and accurate information and to actively contribute to the mobilisation of all active citizens who insist on demanding a better environment. The ultimate goal is to create a green routine, which is of great importance for the quality of life of all citizens. The project tries to reflect the idea that activation needs to be firstly individual, and then collective. Nowadays, it is obvious more than ever, that public places are not only the responsibility of the state, but our responsibility as well. It wants to teach people how to use simple and inexpensive base materials to create green balconies and terraces similar to the Mediteranean garden style.
