I started designing posters for my high school's fine arts department when I was still a student there. During my junior year of high school, I participated in a design contest for An Evening With O. Henry. My entry won, and I had the opportunity to work with a local advertising agency to polish the poster and make it look a little more professional (my resources and experience were very limited at the time, as is evident in the poster design).
Later, I had opportunities for internships at the same agency, which is now responsible for designing the play posters and programs every year. The past two years, I have helped out at the agency during the holiday rush while I have been home from university. I was able to design the posters for both Beauty and the Beast, Jr. and The Wizard of Oz (the latter featuring my own custom typography).
Thank you for taking the time to explore my work. I hope you enjoy it!
