The company's original website no longer met the need of their expanding service offerings. My first step was to refine who their audiences were and what types of content they would be looking for. They needed to reach everyone from the budding entrepreneur who may be interested in renting space in their incubator to the seasoned CIO researching their credentials for a potential mobile app development project. My choices with layout and copy writing varied as targeted specific sections to each audience.
To enable easy updating of the blog by the management team I chose to build the site within the WordPress framework. Making use of existing an existing theme as well as social media, video, and calendar widgets kept my development time down while still allowing for design flexibility.
