An exploration of pattern, transparency, and color interaction
This project is a slight inspiration of Karl Blossfeldt’s photograph, originally starting as a fascination with the details that he captured in the black andwhite prints of flowers. I soon realized that I was attracted to the fact ofthe hidden identity to the flowers. Although some were noticeable, others were abstracted by the detail in intricacy of the details. I thought about how I often pay attention to the details of pattern in fruits. The project focuses on the pattern of the inside of fruit, using transparent ink for color interaction.
