This is a package redesign for Cocon Food Industries’ Mango and Strawberry Nata de Coco. The product is a fruit flavoured, Jello-like treat served in portioned containers.
The target market is children ages 5-12 or mothers of school aged children. On-the-go portioned snacks are popular for this age bracket because is easy to pack in a backpack or lunch bag for school.
The objective was to make the product appealing to children using bright colours and fun shapes. The goal was to make the product look fresh, juicy and flavourful.
The main image on the package is a fruit in the shape of the jelly cup. This was done to show that the contents are as good and tasty as the fruit its self. The use of realistic fruit textures appeals to mothers because it gives the product a fresh, nutritious look.
