Food Lovers’ Republic is a program by Hornsby Shire and Willoughby City Council in partnership with the NSW Environment Protection Authority.
The purpose of the site is to basically educate people to not waste food through a series of online tutorials. On completion of the tutorials, you get a little prize. Yay, prizes!
I did all of the illustrations for the site, to try and give it some character and bring it to life. It’s also done in a different style to what I use to illustrate in—rather cutesy and hipster-ish, which is now my main style of illustration.
Only did a few rough initial sketches for this project—as the timings were pretty tight. But there wasn't any real need to sketch every illustration anyway, as they all re-use a lot of assets between one another.
