This projec came about unexpectedly. I made the poster just for fun a month in advance of the Flying Lotus concert I was planning on attending. At my friends' suggestion, I brought them along to try and get them signed. When I showed it to him after the show, he loved them, followed me on Twitter, and DM'd me wanting to produce them on behalf of Brainfeeder. So, yeah...that's happening.
MEANING:
Steve Ellison has two personas, the producer Flying Lotus and the rapper Captain Murphy. Two sides of the same coin. Therefore, I felt it was only right to depict the personalities in the playing card format.
18x24; 5 colors; will be offset printed on some nice paper
