Nameless is a digital agency with a wealth of big name clients on the books and each year sends out a Christmas card, which the previous year had been the Nameless ‘Paper people’ which created a great buzz for the agency with brilliant feedback from clients and friends. Following on from its success, Nameless decided to create a whole new game, needing to raise the stakes in order to appeal to existing clients and impress potential clients. Taking lessons learned from previous projects and the success of games such as ‘angry birds’ a highly addictive simple ‘fling’ game was created with my co-worker Christopher Richards as lead design. It was built with social media such as facebook being used to increase the ease of interaction and feedback from users. It proved the most popular Christmas game ever created by Nameless, with feedback and players far extending what was expected thanks to being pushed by a viral buzz on social platforms such as Tumblr.
