"Ferdinand the Bull" was one of my favorite stories as a kid. Bulls have been a reoccurring and powerful symbol in my life and this is my attempt to pay homage to the mighty animal. I wanted to delve into the anatomy of the bull and started sketching their skulls. I started with welding the skeleton and eventually stretched metal over it to form the mass of the head. I continued to heat up the metal and forge it around the muscle to finish the form of the head by creating a metal hide. Parts of the skeleton and muscle are exposed through the skin. The horns are made of stainless steel
