The challenge of remodeling a 550 square foot master bath was a designers dream. The focus was always on the garden view that was blocked by wall divisions. To open the space and still provide the structural support needed large Corinthian pillars were installed. A dreamy portal was created and the look is pure fantasy. The pillars added a romantic architectural detail and defined the space for a cozy atmosphere in the over-sized room.
The rich tones of travertine and granite enhance the feeling of the natural surroundings. There is no longer a sense of separation to outdoors but a kinship to it. The two end cabinets at the soaking tub are hamper drawers.
The two person, double rain shower enclosure is so large the glass never even gets wet! And we were worried about cleaning it. It doesn't get much better. Note, this is just a portion of the actual space remodeled.
