Assignment: Create a brand for a high end nut retailer to be named at your discretion. Extend the brand
through 6 distinct packaging designs.
Implementation: Early on while researching gourmet raw nuts, I discovered that the finest nuts are not just simply grown primarily in tropical rainforest regions, but their growth actually works to directly benefit the preservation of these exquisite regions. I found this relationship so interesting that I immediately wanted to build the brand around it. The name Fair Nuts exists to allow its consumers to readily connect the brand with fair trade. Wanting to give each of the four rainforests supported by Fair Nuts its own personal identity, I designed four distinct tribalinspired patterns to represent each region. With the ultimate goal of providing stability to native farmers and cultivators, my main focus throughout this project was to educate the consumer through clear, concise design.
