FOTOSíntese (PHOTOsynteshis), is an academic project in the editorial segment. As a common effort of the disciplines "Projects" and "Typography", in the State University of São Paulo (Unesp), the magazine borns with a proposal based on the union of the photographic community, in a very wide range: small studios of photographic processing, students, teachers, photographers, film-makers and so on. The main concept about the project is the understanding of the magazine as a publication of photographies from the community of "visual readers", and not only a publication about photography, which is pretty more common in the brazilian market. In this way, the related subjects came to the publication as an additional information but not as the main aspect, wich is trully the photography as itself. Another interesting feature is the theme of each publication, wich directs the edition at all: from colors and typography, until different subjects (that address about specifics speechs), maintaining only the graphic project (graphics, grid, among others). The main sections of the publication are: Gallery (with photos from the community, covering the issue theme), Portrait (with a jornalistic covering about someone in any relationship with photography) and Novel (a short narrative with the photos from the contributors covering an history, poetry, joke or tale about the theme of the issue).
